Canal Ponds
Our cement lined canal ponds are used for our young birds as soon as the weather is mild enough and the birds are sufficiently feathered out to be outside and on swimming water without risk of chilling. We raise all the breeds of young ducks and geese together which increases their ability for getting along with a variety of pen-mates. Six to eight weeks prior to the breeding season, they are divided into their separate breeding pens.
